Breastfeeding is one of the most important gifts you can give your baby — everyone agrees. For many mothers and babies, everything clicks into place from the start, probably including all your best girlfriends or maybe your sister or mom, who can't understand why you're struggling. For others, breastfeeding isn’t as easy, and that's okay too.
Breastfeeding is a skill, and mom and baby are expected to learn the skill at a very difficult time and in a challenging culture. Even if breastfeeding went well with previous children, every baby is a new beginning with new challenges. Sometimes mom and baby need a little coaching to get into step with each other.
It’s helpful and comforting to have a coach who not only has experienced these same challenges, but also has the highest certification available in the lactation support field. Someone who will come to your home when you need her, sort everything out, and give you a written personalized care plan to get you back on the road to successful breastfeeding quickly and comfortably. Someone who will follow you through until breastfeeding is going smooth and easy. You and your baby deserve a better breastfeeding experience. I look forward to helping you.
